MATIZ
Visit siteWebsite for Matías Zeballos, a photographer based in Punta del Este. The homepage opens with a black-and-white video of the sea, and the portfolio is organized into series such as Noir, Textura, Montaña and Blurred, each with its own gallery of full-screen images.
The challenge
Matías needed a space of his own to show his fine art photography and his work for brands and agencies.
The images had to take center stage without the design competing with them, and he needed to be able to add new series and posts without depending on anyone.
The solution
We designed a custom site with a black background and widely spaced type, a video homepage and a grid portfolio that groups the photos into series.
Each series opens with a full-screen image followed by a vertical gallery.
The blog covers commissions for clients such as Samsung, Club Nacional de Football and the agency Mural, and the About section brings together his background and the clients he has worked with.
The result
An understated portfolio that lets the photos speak and is just as easy to explore on a computer or a phone.
Matías manages the content from his own panel and can publish new series whenever he wants.
